It was a chilly morning, the hard floor cold under her feet. She had slipped into a borrowed tunic, too large for her even with a belt wrapped twice around her waist, and gone to the kitchens to stoke the fire.

Constraint’s “Boyfriend Tunic” is a really fun role-play oriented take on the “Boyfriend Shirt”, complete with a too large belt as well. I opted for some rustic colours from the texture hud, to fit in with the medieval-inspired stove and oven from Angelicus. It offers a selection of role-play animations, such as stoking the fire, stirring the stew and sweeping the floor.

My hair is Wasabi’s Gale style, which was a Happy Weekend release for the past weekend. A long, sleek style which covers part of the face in a very seductive way.

Dancing Djinn

It is dangerous to venture into the desert at sunset. Deep within the djinn reside and the unwary traveller may fall under their spell, as they can assume forms that are very fair to look upon.

Siyu Suen of Illusions is a new (and very welcome!) addition to the We Love Role-Play designer lineup. Her first release for the event is a set of Drow ears in the series that already includes Sprite and Sylph ears. I meant to wear the Drow ones, but after trying my way through the different sets, I ended up doing the photos with the Sprite ears instead. Yes, I can be a little ditzy at times. The Drow ear is a much longer ear, tapering to an elegant point, and it is available at WLRP at 20% off and in regular and two gauged versions.

The Ariadne outfit by Aurora seemed like it would suit a djinn very well, with its silk drapery, precious metals and jewels as well as a distinct “Harem” aesthetic.

Heritage Valentine

You still have a few days left to visit the Valentine Shop & Hop where, among other things, you can pick up some new releases from DICTATORSHOP.  The Upright Piano from the Heritage series is a new release at 20% off. This elegant and sophisticated piece will add grandeur to any home and it includes 5 beautiful wood finishes and 5 upholstery options. I’ve selected the lovely Ebony option with rich wine-red upholstery. In terms of animations, you can choose between PG, Adult Vanilla and Adult Kink depending on your preferences and your budget. The slinky, Valentine-inspired gown is a Petrichor & Ersch collaboration for FaMESHed which features a heart-shaped top and a skirt that can be toggled between long and short. As always, the HUDs give you a wide array of colour options for both the fabric and the accessories. To go with such a sexy gown, I picked a real bombshell hair from Wasabi called Zenya, which has four style options and can be found at Anthem.

High Seas Adventures

With the No_Anchor style from No.Match, you are ready to set sail and embark on a high seas adventure. Out not at We Love Role-Play, the style includes both male and female fits and a hud for customising the textures of the rakish hat. The Ephiane tunic from Senzafine is also available at the event, as are the Florence boots by Evil Baby. I admit, those are a bit more Victorian high fashion than high seas, but who says a pirate can’t be stylish?

The ship is my old favourite, Neptune’s Revenge from Rustica, sailing the tropical seas of Kingdom of Islands landscape by Landscapes Unlimited.
