White Season
I admit, I am running a little low on ideas for wintry setups, even though I am by no means out of the mood for it. And that is just as well, as it looks like we’re in for a colder period for the rest of January.
In the end, I decided on something a little more artistic for these shots, using a windlight setting with quite a bit of haze. I think it captures a certain feeling of chill which suits the pieces I am showing off; a snowflake version of the Maxwelle chaise from the Plastik, icicle earrings (also from the Plastik) and the Donna lingerie set from Voluptas Virtualis in a silvery metallic texture. The hair from Wasabi from the new Salon 52 event is perhaps not very wintry in itself, but it has a sleekness to it that goes well with the rest of the imagery.
The Maxwelle chaise is available in three special winter editions at the Sesons Story. There are two areas where you can sit and each includes a nice selection of single poses.
You can find Donna at Access for January and the set comes fitted for Belleza Freya, Maitreya and Slink Hourglass. I had some slight issues with the fit of the bra on Maitreya, so do make sure to demo.
The Icicle earrings come in two versions (this is the short, the long is quite a bit larger) and with a HUD that includes several beautiful ice textures. I really like how these catch the light, they look very ice-like.
Wasabi’s Peyton hair comes with a styling HUD that has several options for both the pigtails and the loose strands around your face. There’s a really lovely windblown option, for example. You can find it at the brand-new Salon 52 event, which is dedicated to hair and hair-related products. The first round is very promising, with a very good collection of hair designers participating.
