Skin Fair 2021: NeXus
NeXus is CheerNo’s brand for skins and related items and they have three new releases at Skin Fair: the Icon body skin, the Theo face skin and the Elio eyes. Ran decided to try out one of the shapes we released for Skin Fair (check it out here) with NeXus Icon and NeXus Theo on the Legacy body and LeLutka Connor head. A pretty nice combination, I think!
The face skins from NeXus have a boyish but strong-featured quality to them, often with quite full lips, and Theo is no exception. It is a face with good detail and a lot of character that works across a range of LeLutka heads. We also tried it on some of the Slink heads with very nice results.
Compared to their previous body skin line, Titan, the Icon line is a more polished skin. The shading is smoother and more even and the definition of muscles less sharp. Both Ran and I definitely prefer Icon, though Titan would likely appeal more to those who want more muscle definition and detail.
The Icon body skin is available in 9 tones for Belleza Jake, Legacy and Signature Gianni. The Theo face skin is available in tone 2, 3 and 4.
