Tracing the Threads of History and Fantasy

Lounging in Style

Lounging in Style

For Midnight Order, Grasshopper Street takes you back to the early 20th century with a daring lounging set in silk tulle and satin and a matching turban that is sold separately. The texture huds include both pre-set textures and further tinting abilities. The Zelda pumps are an earlier release, but matched well in style and colour to the lounging set.

For lounging, I am using the Ladies Chaise from the Swan Lake series by DICTATORSHOP, a very opulent line of furnishings with a nice selection of animations. This version of the chaise has single animations, PG couple animations and Adult couple (MF) animations. The matching dressing screen can be glimpsed in the mirror, which is the Ornate Mirror from Dutchie.

The beautiful pale skin is Nar Mattaru’s Hela, worn on Kaya.

Dutchie’s Femdom Chair

Dutchie’s Femdom Chair

The latest release from Dutchie may look modest but appearances are deceiving. This rustic chair offers 30 MF couple animations for BDSM roleplay across four menus: interrogate, tease, take and aftercare.  The chair is AV-sitter experience enabled and compatible boh with the RL Lovense sextoys and the Aeros and the Physics Cock in Second Life. It has Bento animations for hands and faces and optional RLV functionality. To allow the chair to fit in easily with your existing decor, it offers 11 different texture options and of course it uses PBR for maximal texture realism.

I decided to setup the chair in the Waterland House from Dutchie which I have decorated almost entirely with various other releases from Dutchie, such as the Modular Kitchen that also features in the video. Freyja is wearing new lingerie from Alaskametro for the SL Christmas Expo and both Ran and Freyja are wearing the latest Wasabi hair, Snow Bunny, which as you can see works very well on a male avatar too.

Below the video you will find some photos as well, teasing the adult animations, as well as the credits with slurls.

My Kind of Library

My Kind of Library

I love a well-stocked library, and a few grimoires are never a bad idea to have around. Well, they can be a bad idea if you are careless with them, but just handle them with the suitable precautions and all should be well. The set of Grimoire Books from Petrichor for Trick or Treat Lane come with a huge hud of customisation options (you can change both the binding and the edges) and also include several preset holding positions for each hand that will combine nicely with other poses. Now you will never be short a magic book when you need one.

Also from Petrichor are the Vaera Claws, here in a witchy black. These also have loads of options, both for different shapes and for various textures and bump maps. If you want to give yourself that cutting edge, these will definitely do it.

The rest of the outfit combines a cute hairstyle from Wasabi (the headband is of course texture change and tintable) with a sleek and sexy bodysuit from Miamai (on sale for L$50 at the Shop & Hop) and a necklace from Kunglers (a gift at the Shop & Hop).

Dutchie’s Modular Kitchen

Dutchie’s Modular Kitchen

Time for an overhaul of your virtual kitchen? Then you should definitely be heading over to Uber for the current round, which happens to be their 10-year anniversary. Among the great new releases is one by Dutchie, a modular kitchen that will make it easy to setup your very own dream kitchen. Of course it uses the very latest in textures, meaning it takes advantage of PBR and requires a PBR-enabled viewer. This of course called for a video to really show that off as well as to demonstrate some of the animations.

The modular kitchen offers customisation of textures as well as how you arrange the set of base cabinets together with the additional pieces (sink, cooker, kitchen island, fridge and top cabinets). It comes in either a PG or an Adult version, 40 couple animations in the former and 100 in the latter. There are also over 30 animations rezzing scenes and props and the Adult version is compatible with Aeros and The Physics Cock as well as the Lovense Sex Toy. This is, however, an entirely PG video as I didn’t have Ran on hand for showing any of the couple animations. Too bad, because I think the Maggie outfit from Faida (here worn on Inithium Khara) is a really cute little outfit. And I like the attitude of Wasabi’s Starlight hair, with several thin braids and optional glowing bands woven into them.
