A Christmas Bauble

After a day full of cooking and other Christmas preparations, a little playtime in Second Life was just what I needed. Of course, once I finished my blog photos, something decided to go wrong as I was relogging after a short break and my avatar ended up being reset to the default. So, apologies in advance for the very sparse credits.

What I do know, however, is that the fun (and cosy) Christmas ornament is by Dictatorshop, which means it is packed full of poses for you and your partner. Nothing too wild, its labelled Adult Vanilla, but still a little spice for Christmas. You have texture options as well as the ability to set the bauble to either opaque or transparent.

The Dahlie dress is by Petrichor and Ersch and it is such a perfect Christmas dress with the fur lining of the bodice and the holly and bow decorations. But, if you want to be able to use it for other occasions as well, you can turn all these elements off. You can also adjust the dress between three different lengths, and you’re seeing the long version and one of the short versions here. I really like the modelling of this dress, it manages to convey a clingy fabric very well. You will find it at Kinky for December.

Finally, we have the newest hair from Wasabi called Hot Cocoa. There are two main variant styles of this one, with and without a cute knitted hat, and then two versions of the bangs as well. This hair is available at Access.

Just Follow Me

Petrichor and Ersch have a new release for The Warehouse Sale, the Elian dress, and talk about something to turn heads in. You may (or may not!) want to add a pair of panties, but either way it looks fantastic. I used the Fabric hud and selected a deep wine colour which came out fabulously in the lighting. The lantern is also by Petrichor, a part of the huge Flareia collection of lanterns, orbs, candles and flames, all wearable on either your left or right hand and with options for the holding animations. There are also crowns and halos, for adding even more sparkle to your life. You will find Flareia at GothCore.

The long, high ponytail is a Truth Collective release by Truth and Wasabi for the Truth mainstore. A scrunchie holds up the pony tail and the style options include which shoulder it falls over and with or without bangs. For once, I went with bangs, I love how to side curls frame the face in that version.

My Carousel Horse

It is still a learning process to get the lighting just right to show off PBR as well as possible, but I am pretty pleased with how this gorgeous Teeglepet tack set from ContraptioN came out in my photos. The Carousel Trappings set is a beautiful rendition of the tack of a classic carousel horse, now available at the Dog & Pony Show for the vast majority of Teeglepet horse breeds. I decided to pick it up for the Pegasus, since a baroque horse suits my image of a carousel horse. The set includes both fallback and PBR textures, but of course I wanted to use the latter and the leather in particular is spectacular. I am also using a new coat for the Pegasus, the Glimmer coat from Hoofbeatz, also available at the Dog & Pony Show.

I picked up two more poses from Animosity after discovering their horse & rider poses through the Dog & Pony Show, to get a bit of a circus girl feel to these photos. My outfit is perhaps more Steampunk than circus, a new release from Petrichor & Ersch for the Engine Room (which has so many cool new releases this time around). The huge hud with texture options meant that it was easy to come up with a combination that suited the colours of the tack.

Twice the Tease

With the new Firestorm release finally out, PBR has gone mainstream—or at least headed quickly towards it. In addition to the update to the beautiful vanity, Dutchie also has a couple of free-standing mirrors out. I decided to combine showing off one of those with a few new pieces from DICTATORSHOP’s Luxe range, including a an elegant chair which in this version includes Adult animations and lapdances. There are definitely some very saucy options to be had, as well as cuddles and both Maledom and Femdom animations. My favourite among the other decor pieces is the light on the table, which has options for adjusting for example colour, radius and intensity. The sexy outfit is a Petrichor & Ersch collaboration for the Warehouse Sale. Through the HUDs you can change not only the texture but the opacity and length of the dress. The leather harness is worn separately, and you can also turn off the top or bottom if you prefer to use just one part. The hair, with its thick waves, is Tide by the Truth Collective (Truth and Wasabi in this case) for Kustom9, and it includes four different styling versions.
