Fantasy Faire 2025: Oh Deer

Fantasy Faire 2025: Oh Deer

Apologies for the title. Fantasy Faire 2025 is here (and I have never been so late on my first post, but life is crazy and its in the middle of Easter) and of course that means fabulous new releases from Teegle as well as a gorgeous Fantasy Faire sim built by the team.

Fantasy Faire, now on its 17th year, is one of the main events in Second Life raising money for the American Cancer Society through RFL - the Relay for Life. During the Fantasy Faire, you can shop new exclusive releases where the sale proceeds go to RFL as well as participate in a huge number of events that raise funds in various ways.

You are getting a video to get a hint of what the Wraithwoods have to offer and a good look at one of the new creatures, the Whitetail Stag, as well as quick peeks at the other releases. So far Teegle has out three new creatures, three new tack sets and three RFL releases.

In the video you can also see my new outfit and my new horns, the former being by Petrichor & Ersch and the latter by just Petrichor. With its bones, leaves and berries, the Karvani set felt suited to the wilds of the Wraithwood and the Yuen horns took my avatar from human to something a little different. Both come with extensive customisation options both in terms of textures and hiding/showing parts of the design. You will find Petrichor, with a huge amount of new releases available, on the Mire of Whispers sim. Also on Mire of Whispers are Analog Dog and the Stream hair is a new release for the Faire.

On Libraries

On Libraries

Libraries are very much on my mind right now, as I just finished The Book That Held Her Heart by Mark Lawrence, in which a vast, world-spanning library place a central role.

Nothing so grand here, but a small academic library featuring a key component: a very comfortable reading chair, here from DICTATORSHOP’s Heritage series. Now, it isn’t exacly reading poses that it is full of, since this is the Adult Kink version, but it does have some very cosy single animations that have you curling up in the comfort of the worn old leather. Of course, it also comes with a vast array of texture options, in case pristine leather or elegant fabrics are more to your taste.

The scrolls that I am carrying are a little teaser for the Fantasy Faire 2025, one of many, many new releases that will be waiting for you there form Petrichor. These scrolls come in either open or closed versions and there are several different holdable combinations for each. I am showing two here, a stack of scrolls under one arm and a single scroll held up in the other hand. I have also used the hud to customise the textures.

Finally we have the curious lamp that provides illumination in the form of two beams from its eyes. The CatLamp is a new release from Rustica (yes, it has been a while since the last one!) and its terribly cute. The lamp comes in a wall-mounted version, a tabletop version and a holdable version, and don’t miss out on clicking its nose.

Art Show

Art Show

The latest releases from Fanatik all revolve around the gorgeous Nautilus build, a large Art Deco space which makes glorious use of PBR textures. To furnishing this build, Fanatik has also released a set of props, a set of displays and a set of frames. I have used just some of these pieces to setup this scene, but there is plenty more, including some lovely counters for creating different spaces within the build. This could definitely function as a very unique store build, especially given the matching displays and frames, but there are many other options for it too.

The lounger is from DICTATORSHOP, the Ladies’ Chaise in Adult Vanilla from the classically elegant Heritage series. It has over 300 animations and a ranger of options for leather, wood and metals. The single sits and lays include some very useful animations for photography.

I am still wearing the new Nar Mattaru skin and showing quite a bit of it in this body suit from Petrichor & Ersch. I felt like the design blended well with the Art Deco theme and I coloured it up in green and copper, but you have so many options to choose from. The hair is once again Wasabi, now a very sexy shorter style with just the right amount of wisps around the face.

Heritage Valentine

Heritage Valentine

You still have a few days left to visit the Valentine Shop & Hop where, among other things, you can pick up some new releases from DICTATORSHOP.  The Upright Piano from the Heritage series is a new release at 20% off. This elegant and sophisticated piece will add grandeur to any home and it includes 5 beautiful wood finishes and 5 upholstery options. I’ve selected the lovely Ebony option with rich wine-red upholstery. In terms of animations, you can choose between PG, Adult Vanilla and Adult Kink depending on your preferences and your budget. All versions include various solo animations for sitting, playing and dancing as well as duet animations and cuddle animations.

Also available at the Shop & Hop are additional pieces in the Heritage series, such as the set of two consoles in different sizes (these are also 20% off) and a set of low tables which are a free gift.

The slinky, Valentine-inspired gown is a Petrichor & Ersch collaboration for FaMESHed which features a heart-shaped top and a skirt that can be toggled between long and short. As always, the HUDs give you a wide array of colour options for both the fabric and the accessories. To go with such a sexy gown, I picked a real bombshell hair from Wasabi called Zenya, which has four style options and can be found at Anthem.
