The new Collabor88 round is open and after deliberating a touch Ran and I decided that we just had to have the Dreamy Genie Bottle Skybox from Trompe Loeil. It may not be something one gets to use all that often, but for L$388 the adult version with a total of 69 animated poses is a pretty darn good deal (there’s also a PG version for L$188). That’s a lot of poses to play with and the skybox actually seats up to 12 avatars at the same time.

The Silence of the Godswood

Need a place to hang out and sigh wistfully once the second season of Game of Thrones ends on Sunday? Then this gorgeous new skybox from Trompe Loeil for FaMESHed might be something for you. Inspired by the godswood at Winterfell, it features a beautiful weirwood (alas, no carved face on the trunk) overlooking a dark pond.

My outfit isn’t exactly A Song of Ice and Fire-inspired; it is the dark version of Nomine’s Ariel limited edition wedding gowns. I loved the drama of it together with the moody skybox, however. That said, there’s a final shot in this post that references a scene from A Dance with Dragons—can you pin-point which one?

As an aside, both Ran and I would love to see some more A Song of Ice and Fire-inspired things in SL, especially clothing that looks right for the books!

Bath Time

I have already shown several shots from the Ka’u Beach Skybox from Trompe Loeil for the Festival of Sin, but I’ve still got locations left to showcase. This time, I’m in the bath. I’ve also snuck in a lovely new couple pose from oOo Studios in the second photo and I am wearing the brand-new Yumi skin from Adam n Eve.
