Under Attack!

Sometimes, you just want to do a good old-fashioned romance cover and the “Die With You” couple pose from Be My Mannequin? for The Grid event definitely suited that idea. Did our swashbuckling hero liberate his love from a harem only to run afoul of rival pirates? Because surely he is a pirate too with that shirt. ;)

We’re both wearing gorgeous outfits from toksik, who recently did a 50% off sale on all except their newest release. I paired my Allure set with the Sarabande slippers from lassitude & ennui, a lovely pair of leather slippers that are out for the current round of We Love Role-Play. Ran is wearing the Eternal blouse and pants, with the Bloodlust boots. The ship is Neptune’s Revenge from Maxwell Graf at Rustica.

And speaking of sales, my hair (of which you can’t see that much) is from Magika who is currently doing a 50% off sale on all her hairs. Stock up!

Both Ran and I did some shopping when LeLutka had their Black Friday sale ( I picked up Zora and Inez while he got Paxton and Skyler), but with December being so busy we’ve not had a chance to play much with making new shapes until now. But here I’ve got a nice combination of Nar Mattaru’s Delphine on Inez while Ran is wearing Clef de Peau’s Evan on Paxton. I also picked up some new pieces on Salt & Pepper’s current retirement sale, where selected releases are at 80% off and the Miya dress struck me as a great one to wear for this intimate and possessive couple pose from Be My Mannequin?

Time to redecorate your SL bedroom? Dutchie has you covered with their release for FaMSHed for November, an elegant bedroom suite that can be matched to the sleigh bed released for the October round. The suite consists of dresser, lingerie chest, mirrored nightstands and a large wardrobe with mirror doors and animations which comes in a PG and an Adult version. Each piece offers 4 wood options (with the cherry wood matching the sleigh bed) and 2 metal options. The cherry gives an elegant feel, the rustic a heavier feel and the blue and white are very shabby chic with aged and flaking paint. To showcase a full bedroom setup I opted for the cherry wood, but I really like the other options too.

The wardrobe is my favourite piece, especially the Adult version. But both have the 10 solo animations setup with a special mirror view where the camera angle makes it so that it looks like you are looking at yourself in the mirror. The couple poses do not have this setup, but you can cam around and approximate it, it just gets more difficult to get it to look convincing with two avatars. Of course I had to try it for some of the adult poses. ;) There are 20 foreplay and 30 sex animations and there are some distinctly NSFW images in the latter half of this post that give just a hint of what’s available. All animations, PG and Adult, have bento hand poses and animations and where it is applicable they use auto attaching of props.

The Duel

I admit it, I have a thing for big swords. Well, any swords, really. It just looks so cool to be carrying one around and you always look great when posing with one. So when ContraptioN released the Mercenary’s Flambard for the Warehouse Sale, I went right over to grab it and insisted that Ran do the same. After all, while you can pose alone and look cool, a duel looks even cooler. Of course, we needed to dress right too. For Ran’s part that meant a trip to the Engine Room to pick up the amazing Bloodlust outfit from toksik whereas I received a review copy of the Aeon gacha from deviousMind, a very cool steam punk outfit that also is available at the Engine Room.
